| Winter carp fishing | big red maggot on waggler or straight lead on 3 - 4lb line with a size 16 hook. |

and sweetcorn on pole or waggler on 4 - 5lb line with a size 14 hook. Method feeder to the island with size 14 or 16 hook loaded with 4 - 5 red maggot or two bits of corn / banded pellet. 8 - 10lb main line with 6 - 8lb hook length. Any fishmeal groundbait. |
